Despite the rain pouring down, Jennifer Lopez braved the weather to show her backing for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton during a crowded free concert at Miami’s Bayfront Park on Saturday evening (Oct. 29).
Lopez took the stage in a vibrant white and red ensemble, complete with a belt that resembled the American flag. She entertained the audience with hits like “Waiting for Tonight,” “Get Right,” “Love Makes the World Round,” and “Let’s Get Loud.” Before wrapping up her performance, Lopez voiced her support for Hillary Clinton, stating, “We need to choose the right path for the future, and we have the perfect leader to guide us there.” Clinton then joined Lopez on stage to express her gratitude for their support. Without missing a beat, she took a subtle dig at Trump, remarking, “Donald is out there spreading fear.” Throughout the one-hour show, inspiring excerpts from speeches by influential figures like John F. Kennedy, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, and Hillary Clinton were interspersed with the performances, highlighting the importance of the Latino community and women’s rights. Check out some of the standout moments from the event below.
